Lucy Kassel
Lucy Kassel lives in the East Village of New York and attends Friends Seminary. Art and the act of creating have always played a large role in her life, from drawing to printmaking to photography. Lucy has always been fascinated by photography, first as an accessible way to preserve moments and then as something much greater. Lucy attended the RISD pre-college program and fell in love with the darkroom. She now studies at the International Center of Photography. Lucy draws inspiration from photographers such as Sally Mann, Bruce Davidson, and Jill Freedman. She gravitates towards street photography and seeks to capture natural light.
