Walker Strauss
Walker Strauss is a photographer who has been drawing his whole life. He grew up in Brooklyn and will graduate from Saint Ann's School, where he took his first darkroom photography class. He has taken classes in digital photography and drawing at Cooper Union and darkroom photography courses at the International Center of Photography. Strauss often incorporates drawing and painting into his photography projects. His work is inspired by his familial relationships, taking portraits of the people that surround him. His recent work combines drawing with analog portraits in a project that explores his relationships with family members, creating an autobiographical account of the relationships he values most.
